Hi, steemit! I'd like to be a little bit out of my main theme to share a little reflection about this site and about its economy.
Robert T. Kiyosaki said in one of his books that nobody becomes rich by himself, it is necessary to have a team, working together in order to reach that common goal... Perhaps our goals might be different to @ned and @dan's goal.
In my country isn't a bad idea to talk about money as a purpose to belong to a good teamwork or to a community, but in this time I'll give a step forward to said something about this. We, as bloggers, want to earn money sharing posts; on the other hand, @ned and @dan, you need to make this cryptocurrency worth more than just $0,6, and in order to make this happen, you need to have more and more bloggers sharing knowledge through interesting posts... So I think that, even if our goals are a little bit different in essence, these goals share some affinity with your project (steem). This is why I don't think it is a bad idea to talk about our wish to make money in this website, we help you, and you give us this tool so we can work together.
This community is really great and it has a great opportunity for bloggers to join, to share knowledge and to earn money (which will improve all the steem's progress and which, therefore, will raise its price). I've seen lots of people quit on this project and join others' projects, people who post very interesting things, ideas and expressions; and they quit having a wrong idea of this website (this seems to be a closed community of friends, where only the high level partners are helping each other and nobody else to become popular and rich).
As I said before, nobody becomes rich by himself, and this website is taking more and more features related to most of the network marketing enterprises... Said in a few words, each blogger's success becomes in success for every whale in this website, and it is obviously a success for you @ned, @dan... You will bring more and more people that will be working to earn this important coin, and who will raise the price of Steem.
I'm not asking you to UpVote every post people produces, I'm asking you to have a wider view about those newer bloggers and give them a hand, there is a lot of good content that is being wasted, and I don't think I'm wrong when I say that content is the source for this website to make money. The people who make good posts would want to buy steempower and steems, and this is going to make steem worth more than we can see at http://coinmarketcap.com/
Today's capture from the website
An important number of whales left the website a few weeks ago and the price of each steem went down... Are you going to wait until the last whale's gone to recover this cryptocurrency? Think about it
Steemit never had a economy in the first place. It was a gambling website where randomness came from a few individual's whim. This post might give u picture why so many people were disheartened after putting so much of effort - https://steemit.com/steemit/@moonguy/steemit-wonder-comments
This website works with money, therefore, it has to be with economy. No matter how this started, this website has to deal with cryptocurrencies' market
Give yourself a hand by putting forth the effort required to produce better content.
What is the point of this article? To beg for upvotes? Just stop that.
Put forth value and you will get value.
If you want mentoring, visit the #georgedonnelly channel on steemit.chat.
But don't fool yourself into thinking that begging for upvotes is useful or quality content.
Sorry but I don't see this as a begging for Upvotes. This is, as I said, a reflection of what I have seen that is happening in this website. I am not talking random Ideas bro, I have seen lot of trashy content that is being highly upvoted and even I had come to think the same as many people had thought (this is a closed community of friends helping each others but no one else).
