I agree with you Mike, I have worked in a film studio, been in production for the last 20 years and so I have a little bit of knowledge about booking air time and a few aspects of marketing from that. I also attained marketing education from working in many different sales and marketing meetings the last 2 decades for many fortune 500 companies. There is a reason I started the stem-ads account, I don't have the lot of money required yet I have the marketing experience.

It's really reassuring to read your reply above. Because I believe it can be done, but it's gotta be right the first chance. After all, we're going to promote something most people are unknown with it, or are opposite it (because ghey know nothing about it). If they slam.the door in your face, they won't be giving you a second chance.
Thag's why I'm gladd you say you know your stuff. Getting the money to fund something is always possible, getting the right peole for the job is often a lot more complicated.
Can't wait to see how this wil further develop
Thank you, I hope we can arrange enough support that when I launch @steem-ads it can post 1 time a day updating current status of campaigns launched, future campaign goals and thank sponsors etc. The support level getting enormous is what I hope for so we employ a Digital Marketing Director to be pumping out STEEMIT ads, always be on the various platforms answering questions and ensuring the RSS feeds are posting on all platforms, giving steemians content to share and more. I imagine I will have to prove my marketing skills and get this message in front of enough support before launching the official post and initiative. So before launch it is my hope I can announce the launch date and have those that care talk about it with their big friends so maybe together we can make Steemit grow exponentially faster in active members and value simultaneously.
That would be awesome. Big plans ahead. Must be exciting :0)
I will need help, any interest please share.
Maybe you shoulld stzrt small. I mean, the contest in this post is a way too difficult for the average Steemkan.
It's jusg an idea, but how about starting with a contest in which you ask people to create promo material (banner set, full page ad,radio or tv commercial, social media ads etc)for one of the dApps at a time. My best idea to start off easy would be actifit.
You could also set up a sort of bounty campaign for people whoare spreading the word about the app.
Ifthat seems to work, do the same for Steepshot or Appics. With so many dzily Instagram users, I thinkthere is a mainstream market for it.
But mybest gipwould be: start small and slowly build your way up...
