Totally agree with Ned! I’ve noticed many people have their “friends” things get voted on and the content may be crap. It then becomes a feeling of high school. It’s no longer content and haven’t we then missed the point? Like the term used “Team Australia” or “USA”. So then I feel pressured to join teams or groups instead of being recognized for having original material or being true to my content.

Thankyou. I think curation teams are the answer.
What is a curation team? Teams such as “team Australia?”
But who’s to choose what is a “good post” and what is not? A curator could choose a post or not choose a post based upon their own personal views. I feel building relationships talking with people in an organic matter is so needed it shouldn’t be a robotic transactions of how much money can be made with this how much money can be made with that it’s about sharing our passions and view points and ideas while receiving the perk of a payment to me my friend. And I think that’s what maybe is ruining the system is socializing or making friends isn’t worth my time making honest whole hearted connections with someone who doesn’t have a fat wallet isn’t worth my time. We shouldn’t live like this in our day to day lives never mind our steemit lives. I’m hear to learn meet fellow minded people and share stories, art, ideas... I think we need to change our views on only it being about fast cash now and long lasting and learning. I get the high school vibe situation and that each post should be valued when needed. But it’s like any social media plat form you post on IG and you have no followers no ones going to like it you need to build relationships. Story of life it seems
