Hi @anyx
I exposed a conartist today: @ricegum
here is my post on the issue: https://steemit.com/steemit/@earnest/community-curation-and-exposing-conartists-in-steemit-the-case-of-ricegum
and here is the post by the conartist recognizing the con:
https://steemit.com/steemit/@ricegum/making-400usd-from-plagiarism-and-why-the-cheetah-bot-needs-to-upgrade-giveaway-steem-t-shirt
Well shit...
Actually opened myself up on that one and got played.
https://steemit.com/steemit/@ricegum/i-am-not-ashamed-of-my-abortion-my-life-story-in-picture-and-text
Stuff like that is going to have me not bothering to put much thought, effort or sincerity into my posts anymore.
Thanks for catching it anyways @earnest
she's not an identity thief (or at least there is no evidence of that), she was caught plagiarizing though. and now she's saying it was "just a test" for damage control to try and save her steemit career. the fact she's now trying to save face....means the face was really hers. so i'd exclude identity theft.
Yep, I have been following this too. The cheetah bot is not very advanced (I alone am coding it, and it is still in its infancy), but I am working on improving its capabilities. It just goes to show how important this issue is getting.
She is not an identity theft, here is a picture of her. But she did plagiarism from Reddit but it was just for testing, I dont think that she is that dumb and uncreative
