I want to make a comedy show with genuine characters, like Casual or Silicon Valley. The difference is that in this one, Steemit is always in the background. They use Steemit instead of facebook or Twitter, they pay with steem or SMT’s and they interact with lots of dapps that will be released between now and the filming of the show.
It’s a comedy about modern city life. About how we are lost in a freelance world where old wisdom doesn’t cut it anymore.
People don’t have a clear path in life and you can’t ask anybody how the world will look in 5 years.
So why study? Why sell your time for money, if money might be worthless soon.
That’s the initial idea, that surely will be improved and tooled around before shooting.
So I would direct it, but I’m open for other people directing some of the episodes.
Let’s spread out the creative ownership of the project!
I want to develop the storyline with the writers and the producer, maybe even crowdsource ideas from regular steemians. And I want to find those people here on steemit.
I’m writing a post about it, and then suddenly this one popped up like attraction magic.
Is this a project you’d be interested in collaborating on?
What would you see me doing in that project? How can I be of assistance?
I will consider this and get back to you during next week.
It's an important question, I was going to ask you the same.
I don't know if you've ever been involved in film or tv before?
From your posts the main thing I know about you is that you're a marketing guy and you have a big network. Marketing would be extremely important, especially at a more advanced stage of the show.
And if you know great possible screenwriters or possible producers on steemit then that would be of even bigger value.
But again, is that what you feel like doing? Or how could you see yourself collaborating on a tv/webseries project? Maybe you have other talent or experience that you haven't shown on steemit yet.
Well, you should join the empire and hit me up once you're there so we could talk about this further!
