RE: The Difference Between A "Post" & A Publication

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

Maybe if I said it was my original logo that would apply, or maybe if it wasn't such a big company. If they really want to sue me over it they can go ahead. I will make more off posting about the lawsuit then they could possibly sue me for... I don't make enough for it to be worth it for them. Now, if I was making considerably more on my articles, I would properly cite everything FOR SURE. Until then... not necessary, only in certain situations.

You touched on some fine points concerning the law. Its just advised to play it safe and always source. Helpful if you want to participate in key/elite contests. I would say you're doing well on your post rewards though. If I could get rewards like this on two posts a day I would be making 4 because I could live off the rewards your getting.I'm'm also not a super talented writer like you!

I was politely asked to try and keep my posting to 2 a day, but def no more than 3. If i do four or more, I will take away too much from the rewards pool in one of my groups. I show respect for my tribe and adhere to this request.

Just remember when your a talented writer like yourself people will emulate you and copy your style. They may not know copywrite law as well as you do. Is all im saying. Your not wrong and following the fine points of copywrite law your post is 100% ok.
