From Facebook to Minds

in #steemit7 years ago

While I love Steemit, there are some areas where it does not quite fill in the blanks.

For instance, we have had shop pages on fb for years, where we could easily post links to new items...and with hundreds of followers sharing our links it would bring alot of traffic to our shops. Perhaps the people sharing the links were not the end customer, but that is how and why it worked.

So, we are shifting to Minds.com for our shop pages to see if their platform will work. It is far closer to fb in the way post links can be shared, and that style of networking is important.

I will stay here for blogging, for #NeedleWorkMondays, for the #Homesteading and #Prepper communities...but for our shops, I need to head elsewhere to fill in the gaps...

Hi @elew, I will be interested to hear how it goes for you on Minds.

I have an account there but never used it yet.

Hi pennsif :) If you have not been there for a while you might want to check in...they have changed ALOT in the last few month. Many things have been upgraded, and they are in a MetaMask beta test right now. Their tokens will be ETH based, which makes things easier in ways...but they have made the entire platform much more user friendly. You can find my profile here https://www.minds.com/ElewMompittseh

Thank you - will go visit there again.

I will post updates here too though ;)
