I wonder if Steemit shares some of the same issues as facebook though. Instead of comparing likes and friend numbers, it might be worse people comparing dollars. My gf said she thinks that Steemit could eventually attract a lot of disingenuous people as well, people curating just to make money. As things are right now though I think that steemit is the clear winner, although it will be interesting to see where it goes in the future. One thing is for sure though, we have given too much of EVERYTHING to FB (info, time, money, etc.) Happy that this platform is decentralized :) FB should be scared
