I'm an account officer in financial firm in the Philippines and my primary role is to drive sales to the company. I need to go out in the field everyday to look for clients who need to money and will offer them to apply a loan from us. Hey wait, this job very easy because everybody needs money and all you have to do is to pick them app, if that's the case is very much easy but that's not the case. I spent so much time under sun looking for those clients, ignoring all types of weather just to meet monthly quota. I need to wisely choose clients whom we offer the services because if I miss, the negative effect will surely fall on me.
I need to make sure that the client has the capacity to return our investment or face the consequences of losing additional incentives. How can we make sure that the client I chosen will surely return the investment? There are clients that upon checking their cash flows, they have enough capacity to pay but sometimes they just don't like to pay. What should we do then to secure the loan of the client? We need to establish a good security from the client, a security that is very important for the client that she/he could not afford of losing it. At this level we could be sure that the client will surely pay the loan because they are afraid of losing the security.
Aside from marketing, I also need to manage my existing clients, visit them every now and then, making connection and establishing a good relationship with them so in time that you need them to pay their monthly amortization you will have any problem. But even so, there still problem because arrears could be totally avoided. There are clients that could not meet on their monthly due dates for some reason such as delayed salaries, remittance and harvest.
