Anybody knows whats the number next to the user is for?
Today i realized there is a number now next to my username, if you klick on it it says reputation, anybody can explain?
So far i see some from -6 up to +9

your reputation I believe, its down rating bots and people that abuse something.
Well i think so to. But it would be nice if @ned or someone can explain what it really means. And how you climb higher or going lower in this case. Will it solve the Bot problems?
It also downvotes people who dare to speak inconvinient truth... So enforcing circlejerk even more.

well newbies get 6 from the start :) then you try posting something about steemit other than "wow steemit is great I stopped using fb and twitter and reading press and my two million friends also will join me" and you'll see your rate go down :)
