Once again thank you for these wonderful updates. I really appreciate the work that you do here keeping the rest of us in the know about what is happening with our eco-system. This type of news is always encouraging on red days like today.
Getting the word out now is important to establish some major players that help the growth in the future. Who knows, the price of Steem could double at some point of time and it will make it harder for people in 3rd world countries to get a good share of the network.
This might not seem like important work or something that would payoff, but I'm sure many will and can see the benefits of this kind of activity.

Are people panic selling or is it because people don't want their bitcoin frozen in any exchanges?
its good time to invest in crypto then its down for long term:) actually steemit growing everyday so every day will be green haha :) but ye its still good to see growing and green numbers
As long as Steem keeps growing I'm certain the market will catch up. I don't think the drop is over but I think surviving this will overall boost the value of Steem and the platform.
Great day for Steem because I got paid yesterday, and will having my weekly mining proceeds soon. :) I'm sure we'll see the price go up some more tomorrow with the volume of the clever people buying more Steem, unless with segwit and the UAHF we see a larger drop on BTC, which could happen.

I'm wondering how we are looking over the next 2 weeks.. Curious to see if we are going straight down again, or straight up.. I can't really see things being stable for now though.

Guess its about the exchanges, volume is down everywhere...
It will be a pretty good time to load up in a few days when people are so fearful of bit 148 :)
Its just a game of the whales at the moment to spread some fear that they get some cheaper BTC...

I don't see any problem in price and market cap decrease. These are just smaller corrections.

All the markets are down because BTC is locked at the exchangers..... Wait a bit longer before you buy, watch the market!
I'm biding my time but I can go FIAT -> Ripple, LTC, ETH or ETC then straight to Steem.

Awesome. Despite the summer holiday's the numbers are still surprisingly positive. Let just hope that Steemit will be able to acquire more users.
