The problem with blockchains is that they are censorship resistant. Also the good thing. You can't write privacy without piracy.
Invisible Digital watermarks are useful post hoc, like watermark factory or plain old photoshop, and works once the burglar is found.
How to signal the person their content has been stolen is a much harder problem.
This is what i am wondering about. If the account is somehow mentioned in the watermark, it could create a notification of use. I understand that when there is money, there is incentive but increasing the work required to plagiarise may at least lower the amount of people willing. I don't know if it is possible in the long run as technology itself will make plagiarism easier also.
(even if you trace the material, others could snip it) Well, you could use an add-on for image view. Since the content is in the blockchain anyone can watch it. But if you encrypt it before uploading and only decode it with the add-on then that's your stuff . For everyone not in the know, they could see the image but 1 pixel distorted, enough to discourage copying. Problem is that it would require you signing personally your followers,
Looks a bit like the cat you killed yesterday.
