This painting came about after discovering a new local paint shop. There were swatches of all the colours of the rainbow amongst the mediocre magnolias and brilliant whites. In the corner was a machine which could make that particular hue. A whole pot of matt emulsion for 1 UK pound! I gathered up the little squares and chose a potpourri of colours i didnt have in my art studio . Here is a painterly study from that initial experiment with these treasures.
I live in a region of the world where flat land isnt common so I painted some horizontal stripes to satisfy this need. Please upvote and resteem if you like it. Thanks!
