Available 150 SP delegation for a red-fish

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

Presentation1.png

..I'm counting on being too small to be worthy of attention.. a bit like when a T-Rex can't see you if you don't move..

The HF20 left many of us with mixed feelings. Personally, I feel quite reassured after the patch and my blue mood of the first moments gave way to a renewed enthusiasm. In this times, where we're taking awareness about the costs intrinsic to the platform, my thoughts go to those newbies who are seriously limited by the recent fork..

In the name of the solidarity between small (banana)fish, whose greatest resource is the creation of valuable content, I decided to delegate 50 SP to a worthy newbie for at least three months and sustain him/her the best way I can.

ADD: what a kicker!! @derangedvisions and @erh.germany added a 50SP delegation each.. raising the available delegation to a total of 150 SP. This isn't over, @minnowbuilder (a project part of the @pifc family) will give the winner 10 of their management shares in @minnowbuilder for 30 days. This will give a small daily upvote on his/her posts for a month. You guys, and girls, are simply awesome! The pot is rich, give your best, friends redfish!

If you're interested and are a so-called redfish, please do not hesitate to leave a comment or contact me in the Bananafish Realms (https://discord.gg/TjS49W2). I will consider everyone with a quality blog, especially fiction writers and poets. Cheers!

Submission deadline corresponds to the post payout date

@f3nix please add that @minnowbuilder will give the winner 10 of our management shares in @minnowbuilder for 30 days. This will give a small daily upvote on their posts for a month.

It's amazing to see all this positive energies gathering. Thanks @minnowbuilder, you rock. Asap I'll update the post including your generous offer.

The @pifc family (@minnowbuilder is part of that family) and I (@thedarkhorse) appreciate efforts to keep steemit running smooth for the smaller members. We need the engagement from them and their varying points of views.

BTW, only point out who all these accounts tie back to in case others don't know. Feel it's important when people have multiple accounts that there is some disclosure here and there so people understand who they are dealing with.

That's fair, I also do that with the @bananafish when needed (as 90% of the times it's me writing through that account). We definitely need inclusion and variety to make of steemit an awesome experience.

This is awesome. I like this initiative and how you are giving back. DM me on discord when you choose the winner and I will match the 50 SP delegation to the person you pick.

Wow I'm speechless. This is beyond my expectations and a demonstration of how powerful solidarity can be, when passionate steemians join together. I'll update the post asap with this great new. Thank you @derangedvisions, I'll DM and ask for your feedback about the choice.

I'll give another 50 SP.

Anyone else?

O_o Erika!!! With all our messages in the Finish the Story I missed this...simply amazing.

I was sure you'd find it anyway :)
When you are done, tell me where the 50 SP shall go. I am trusting you that you're choice is going to be a good one.

Thank you for your trust @erh.germany. I will DM you and @derangedvisions with 2-3 candidates. I'd like to evaluate with you the possibility of a split 🙂

no problemo!

So cool that you're doing this.
I'm running a delegation contest on my blog too, and I see more and more people who are willing to help out the accounts that are in trouble :0)

Thanks for your appreciation, Mike! I just try to put my beliefs in this place where, in the end, I recently spend a good chunk of life.
I saw your contest and you're doing a lot for minnows. This is the Steemit that in the long run will manage to attract the majority of people imho.
I'd be very happy if a great steemian like you knocks at the Bananafish Realms, our small-easygoing community of writers and haijin.. you're officially invited 😉

Well, thank you for the invitation! I'll come knocking as soon as I have a little time to spare. At the moment, I would need 72 hours in a day to be able to do everything I want/need to do. But I won't forget :0)

I think that we would both need a time-room where time flows slower to use as a shelter 😉 When you feel like, the Realms are there to welcome you.

hi @f3nix

I didn't hear from you in a while so I decided to check your blog to see if you're still active or taking a break.

Im glad to see tht you're still around. Obviously upvoted :)

The HF20 left many of us with mixed feelings.

I was about to ask you what do you think about HF20. Im glad to see that you're positive about those changes.

Obviously upvoted.
Yours, Piotr

Dear @crypto.piotr I'm active and with lot of satisfaction, especially coming from the @bananafish contest/community. I know you always produce great content and I feel a bit guilty for not visiting you.. In my defense, my community needs to be cuddled and fostered and the time remaining is close to zero. I'm adopting a positive outlook on hf20, being a manager I see this as a drastic but necessary measure which will strenghten the existing accounts. Thanks for visiting me and for your upvote, see you soon.

morning f3nix

Thx for recommending @bananafish. Loads of interesting content :)

I know you always produce great content and I feel a bit guilty for not visiting you

It's flattering to hear those words. And please never feel guilty. Im aware that we're all having limited time and we cannot support everyone.

You've mentioned "your community" and that you're a manager. Are your work somehow related to crypto/blockchain?

Yours
Piotr

Thank you for this great and supportive initiative. Since I started at steemit almost two months ago I made an effort to be part of the community. I voted, published and commented regularly. I writed poems and stories mainly, and I was always looking for contests and other writers with whom to interact. And I loved it so much! That's my favorite part of Steemit! Now, I feel incredibly restricted. When I post this comment, I'll have 17 comments left and I'll have to wait about 2 days to reach 100%. This is driving me crazy, honestly. I have to interact to grow. That's what Steemit is based on, right? I hope you can take a look at my blog and consider it. Again, thanks :)

Thanks for participating to this and I'd love to invite you to one of our contests in the @bananafish community. There's plenty of opportunities for winning some SBI or STEEM and, most of all, a welcoming community of writers :-)

HF20 is very big issue for new users.New users not use steemit.Resource cradit always 0.New users so sad.New users not working on steemit.New users needs some delegation.I m also sad.beacause my sp is only 40.

I feel you man. Try to create an interesting blog and make friends... I saw that you just post entries for steemhunt. Does it pay you back?

I would suggest taking a look at @pifc's contest post this week. He not only mentions the redfish currently being supported by the @minnowbuilder project, but also asks for nominations for the next round. If you keep watching the entries as they come in, there may be a few redfish who pique your interest for support. (Curator entrants are also possibilities.)

I am nearly out of redfish territory myself, but you mention fiction - you might want to check out my writing if you haven't already.

I gave some publicity on pifc - one of the best communities on steemit - about my intentions. "Where there's a will, there's a way".. I'll be open to anyone that feels like saying a hi to me here, in my blog. Thanks for you comment, I'll surely check :-)

This is really cool of you to do. I am a Redfish but working my way up and at current level I think others would need the help more than I.

Thanks buddy, I'm happy that you're prospering! In some time I'm going to publish the 30th edition of our Finish the Story contest btw ;-)

Can i get that? :)@f3nix

Hello @sherbanu, I will check your blog.. maybe a "hi" from your end or introducing you briefly could help, did you think about it?

Thank you @f3nix for the response.
I am SherBanu joined steemit in march, 2018.
Till then i am with this as this is the platform given me confidence i can write!
Its amazing experience being here. Found lots amazing persons and their writings. Yes, sometimes my posting becomes very irregular being mother of 3. But i try remain stick with this. I am also member of several discord communities and helping and helping others and learning still.

I would also suggest to check @steemtuner, community that supports steemit bloggers.
& if can be supported then would be of great pleasure for us.

Thanks for letting me understand a bit more of you and good luck :-)

Its pleasure @f3nix 👍

So very kind of you! <3

Thanks Janelle 😊

You just bump the redfish community

Hope redfish will grow more with your help!

Thanks, together we're strong!

Great idea. I would raise my hand, but I'm almost at minnow status. Give it to someone who still has a way to go. Looking forward to seeing who wins it.

I hope to choose for the best. I take it with sense of responsability, knowing that steemit means a lot for some of us.. 200 SP ago (yours) I would have picked someone like you with my eyes closed. Good luck with your great contest! 😉

Such a great offer @f3nix :) I've seen the support others have stepped up to give you. This is what the community what it is. I think most everyone you know is a Redfish or some may surprise you 🙄.

@thedarkhorse and couple others have been a great help to me. Still a long way to go but I greatly appreciate all the help I get. I know there are others that are very deserving. I would love to see someone that it would help them grow.

I know the delegation I had gotten from @simplymike started things off for me. Just think of what can do for someone on the cusp of things.

Thank you for your contribution on this post @triskele. We're small but we can already do a lot.. growing communities like the @bananafish and @pifc, made by redish/minnows for other redfish/minnows, are what gives sense to this steemit journey. In the end, we put our time and energies here, we could say a part of our life, so it's fair to put also our concrete values. All the best, friend :-)

I'd suggest @philipkavan .. he's an enthusiast authors, if you have time to check on him, he might has a problem after the hf20. I appreciate your kindness @f3nix 😊

Thanks @cicisaja and kudos for your selfless thought .. I'll evaluate only those that show here their interest and capability to interact. This means to me that they demonstrate a positive motivation and that kind of pro-active attitude typical of every great steemian. Hence, reccomendations from third parties (for how worthy they might be) will be considered little to zero. Cheers 😉

Thank for your explanation😉 I hope he could managed to read this post because he's somewhere in the middle of ocean where the plankton3 need to understand how to use RC wisely😊

According to steemd.com, in this moment he has enough RC for 13 comments and 77 votes.

glad to heard you want to help newbie...it's will help us much, you can choice wisely the one who deserve to get it,thank you @f3nix

My pleasure @yati. It's going to be a tough choice.

Hi @f3nix, great initiative, thanks for trying to give back! And please confirm that that is your head on Ned Stark's body, AWESOME! :)

I'll go ahead and throw my hat in the ring as well: I'm from California, but have lived in a lot of tough places doing humanitarian work in disaster zones all of the world.

I now call Bangkok my home, where @suitcasemama (my wife and a very talented photographer) and I are busy raising a small family. My steemit persona is a bit all over the place - I feel like I'm half a creator and half an engager. I've written about blockchain, street art, worthy charitable causes, current events, off the beaten track travel. For engagement, I've run a few small contests and now have saved up 20 Steem to give away in the Steemit Survivor Contest I'm running. That's about 20% of my total worth here, so it was a challenge to save it all up, but no worries, I plan to be on Steemit for a long time.

Thanks for giving back, I hope to get up to a higher level eventually so I'm able to do similar for those even smaller than me :)

Actually my head might well be out of the picture, right on the stump ready to be beheaded (considering my persistent mocking of the supreme) :-P I'm impressed by your positive and selfless attitude, other than your empathy.. keep it up, bud!

Ah, sorry about your head, but don't worry, Ned will lose his head soon too I think :)

Thanks for the kind words!

Taking out, my best short. Thanks for the move.

you're welcome @murathe :-)

Respetado @f3nix, estaría interesado en recibir ese apoyo que ofrece, pues mi poder en SP es bajo, lo que en este momento me limita para votar, comentar y publicar post. Agradecido por su iniciativa solidaria. Saludos.

Dear @josemalavem, I'll check your blog and duly consider your request. By the way, I noticed that your last submission in the Mizu no Oto contest passed unobserved.. this is because you forgot to post the link and we didn't know about your participation. We're looking forward for your haiku today in the 4th edition. Sorry for the English but I'm sure you'll easily translate 😉

Gracias por su respuesta, amigo @f3nix. Quise colocar mi enlace, votar y reestemear el concurso, pero el cambio en la plataforma (HF20), no me lo permitió en esos días. Saludos.

This is so generous of all of you! Ironically, HF20 is doing something very good to the community -> building a stronger one :D

I don't quite meet your criteria - I am not a fiction writer and I joined before the HF20. Anyway, I appreciate what you are doing! Cheers!

Sometimes in life a good shaking is necessary for evolving, I guess 😉 I am very open to evaluate every worthy steemian, Valeria. The joining before is absolutely not a requisite, the fiction writing is just a minor preference I have.. most of all I evaluate empathy and content creation/interaction. I would love to invite you to the Bananafish Realms (@bananafish - discord or contests), we like people like you and our tentacles are fluffy and harmless.

our tentacles are fluffy and harmless

lol :D Good to know, I was just wondering what kind of fish you are ;)

Thanks for the invite. I followed @bananafish and will join on discord :)

I would really appreciate it if you consider my application then ;)

Cheers!

Will surely do! raising up my fluffy tentacle for a hi

:D :D :D Oh, you made me smile again, @f3nix! Thank you!

Er....

I'll like to nominate myself, if it's okay.

I'm a writer (and sometimes poet) on steemit.

Writing is both my hobby and source of livelihood

Opened an account last year October but started blogging early this year (January)

I suck when writing about myself

Yes, I can confirm that you suck writing about yourself hahah but thanks God I know you..of course you can nominate yourself bud 🙂 Hope that your writing block passed, btw.

I am interesting about your initiative. What info do I need to give to you. I am a redfish. I am very active in steemit. You delegate will help a lot for me. Thanks in advance.

Hello, friend. The info are your blog so don't worry. Good luck and all the best!

So awesome of you to do this @f3nix! And the support pouring in is really great too :) So awesome to see initiatives like this ... I'm putting this in our @asapers "contest" link in Discord ... spread the word a bit more :)

Thanks @lynncoyle1! I'm so glad for the direction it took.. we can really make a difference for someone now with 150 sp.

Yayyyy!!! I am sooooo relieved and happy that finally a few cool steemians are teaming up to help a newbie get a fresh start and red fishes to boost and keep on steeming!!

From personal experience it was really tough.. but i have had few support and love that has gone my way..

So my fear for my other fellow red fishes are almost answered! Thank you guys for thinking of us. May you be blessed more..

Good luck though! ❤

Solidarity should be a priority in this platform, where we all know how hard can be to have a voice and grow, especially in the first months. Bless you too and thank you for your lovely message @maquemali!

Yes it is!! Let us not be selfish and think of others in need.. With the onset of HF20 it is even more harder to start alone.. may you be able to help more!

Thanks guys!

I will really love to participate. I still a Minnow. In any case, I going to tell somefriends that are newbies here.

Feel free to spread the new and I will surely check your blog ✌️

The contest is closed

I need now some time to end checking everyone's blog and choose for the better with the help of @derangedvisions and @ehr.germany. You're all amazing steemians, it won't be easy to pick just one, therefore I think we'll split the delegation. Stay tuned!
