Great idea!
I would say that before I met Steemit I was on FB all the time. And now, I open it out of what feels like obligation, 2-3 times a day just to check notifications. However, I don't spend much if any real time there. So I am going to go with a 1.75 haha.
I know that whenever I start something new, I usually participate in it 100%! I get all excited about it and there's nothing else I would rather do! Haha. Facebook is something that is always there, and before I would spend a lot of time on it. However, now that I have my own house, and lots of outside things to attend to, I don't go on it as much. In fact, I actually hadn't opened up my laptop in MONTHS until I started using Steemit. But I would use FB on my mobile devices.
So what it is about Steemit that makes me not want to be on fb? That's a good question. I haven't really gotten the deep down answer yet, but on the surface it's because I have a goal here. I can make some money here, that's a big motivator for sure. I also like the real interaction here. While there is a lot of people who just upvote and do not comment, there are a lot of people who actually do take the time to comment. Where on FB, people just "like" things and forget it ever happened. Here we're more purposeful, we read the whole thing and decide whether or not it is worth an upvote or comment.
Improvement. ABSOLUTELY. There's always room for improvement on everything. There's lots of little things that Steemit could do to make this a top notch platform for sure!
May I suggest some spelling fixes? If this is offensive, please accept my apology!
- I think you may have meant "Any room for improvement on Steemit".
- Week not weak (weak is strength - Week is the 7 days Sunday-Saturday).
- And you'll make a GRAPH.
- Germany language COURSE (Coarse is a texture, like rough).
- In your title, it should be YOU'RE not your. Because you are saying "You are needed..."

I took some German when I was living in Germany. I don't remember a whole lot, but, Tschüss is a great word! One of my favorites! Though, I could get around and go shopping for food and clothes fine with my crappy German. Haha.
I knew people Will say 2-3 bcuz catching up with friends , news , events around the block is what fb is built around.
I wanted people to think how to implement some of that into steemit . I'm not stressing on changing steemit identity.

I definitely did not want to embarrass you!! That was not my intention at all. Just to help you. I had lots of friends in Germany that would request I do this for them. So I am never sure if it's appropriate for everyone. Would you like me to edit my comment and remove that portion?
It's okay you have great English and I know it's hard. Please don't be embarrassed! I know how it works to be someone using not their own language! Haha
Not at all i was just explaining how it was a big deal an eye opener (i asked for your help previously if you remember ) & I'm asking it now .why it is an eye opener bcuz when you live in a country that is weak in English you have an ego & not improve your self ...... I'm happy to not do the same in German.
