The @steemit account has come to life recently over on our former home. Not content to just downvote posts that they disagree with to oblivion, they have also started upvoting their new "non sock-puppet" witnesses and anyone speaking out against Hive-
Today they got their first taste of curation rewards, a whopping 687SP for one vote on a post. Whoever is running the account doesn't quite grasp how the steemit system works yet though as they also upvoted a few posts well past the payout window.
The incompetence shown even with something as simple as voting, combined with downvote censorship, the actual coded in censorship, the ridiculous change to the TOS and the now daily stretches of downtime make it blatantly clear to anyone that moving to Hive was the absolute right decision.
Deciding to power down my STEEM since early February was one of the best decisions I took. I felt like it was time to leave the shit show after 3 years, and man I'm glad I did. I got about 6 more payouts to cash in after that I'm done, forever with Steemit.
So glad I joined HIVE. Will be powering down and moving my stake to this new account once the wallet is back online and will consolidate my HIVE stake on here.
