This was a great read. I'm also a musician and have only recently joined steemit. I've found the community to be so supportive and genuinely receptive, it's very refreshing when it's so easy to get lost in the crowd on other platforms, like Facebook. I really like your most recent Open Mic and I really want to get involved. Will be getting on it ASAP. hopefully this week, maybe next!
