I joined steemit last May but just started using it in the last month or so. I am not here to make money but rather to connect to like minded individuals as you have mentioned. I still want that to go faster than it is but as I look at my following it is going up every day so if I keep up this rate I could have a good following in a year...or two. I guess the key for me is to not lose heart and keep posting what I like/love. Thank you for your post.
