I was wondering how many of those votes I was getting were by bots.
I asked myself, are those votes automatic?
Does my content not matter to this many supporters?
I'm ok with that, better to give out an average to a happy few, rather than ride the ups and downs as defined by fickle popularity, imo.
I think that last post has given me an answer.

Not many automatic votes and a definite lack of support for that content.
Who knew that the little guy getting support would be soooo offensive to folks not offended by my regular content?
I guess it just goes to show that folks are reading and voting, or not, what I have to say.

Same thing. Sometimes I just notice 30-40 likes in less than a minute. And on other even better quality posts from my point of view I don't get 10 likes

@freebornangel, I always look forward to your post on steemit! I don't always have the time to go though them in depth, but this is really valuable information. And when steemit has more user, I'm sure your up-votes will go way up!

You have found your audience here! The fact that it has not grown is pure numbers. steemit just does not have the user yet.

I am more afraid that the bots do read your posts. Kind of spooky…
Ah, lol, I have no doubt that the ai's are here and crunching numbers, marking everybody's permanent record.
Sometimes I wish I got some passing Bots to pad the Up Vote numbers.

Sometimes i am not sure i want to know! I mean, from one point, seeing people upvoting your post/comment makes you feel good (not just for the extra income) because you feel productive, that you work you give to the people is something they appreciate. However, if you find out that some of them are by bots, might discourage some people.
Sometimes i feel that if bot-voting explodes too much, people will start interacting via comments less and less and will just upvote posts, but on the other hand, i know how encouraging it can be to authors and also helps a lot the community to grow, especially for the newcomers.

I guess I should look to see who votes in order.
Since im not that deep into the steem 'vocabulary' yet :D, can you clarify ? By train you mean to see some graph with who is voting every one of your comments? And if yes, how you can see it, from steemd?
I use steemstats, voting trails come from streemian, but you'll have to look that up yourself, I don't know much about them except that I don't like them.
Ganging up to grab loot doesn't appeal to me.
