RE: Can someone point me to a tutorial or guide explaining the Steemit currency in relation to posts, upvotes, and comments?

If you change the 'it' in Steemit to 'd' or 'db' in any url you will get a wealth of information about that url.
It works on posts and pages.

Steem inflates, 9.5% a year, that inflation is split between sp holders, witnesses, and authors/curators.

Until you have 500sp everything should be powered up.
Trade sbd for steem on the internal market.
Try to set your bid for a bottom in steem/usd, or a high in sbd/usd, the price difference on the external markets will be reflected in the internal market, and power it up.
The more sp you have, the more valuable your vote, and the more the readers will value your attention.
I know that is wrong, but we are raising funds to spread the illumination, eh?

I came early, was told my content wasn't worthy, but continued to beat the drum, anyway.

If steem keeps going up, it will be harder to get any for posting, so post most when the price is down.
When it was .07usd is when i got most what i have, no thanks to the gangs or whales.
My supporters have been either groups i joined early on, or readers that liked what i say.
It isn't easy to get a following among the average folks, the wool is too heavily over their eyes, imo.
