There were 15,005 posts.
The simply math says that your post had the potential to make ~46.7 steem.
But we all know that everybody can't really grow up to be president.
However, a more equitable distribution has been the complaint all along on Steemit.
Perhaps you would like to work towards growing the bottom and shrinking the top?

I view this website as a prototype of all websites to come. Whether or not it's Steem doesn't really matter. There are several issues about Steemit I really don't care for. However, we are the guinea pigs testing these systems out, so that's the price we pay with our time. I foresee every major website will use cryptocurrency, don't you? After witnessing Steemit flourish, it's a nobrainer.
Yep, we are in the shallow end of a pool that could get very deep.
Some will float and others will be scams, together we all learn.

Oh, I don't know, 1.1 million usd seems like a lot to me for a daily pool.
Oh I thought it was $700 thousand. So that's almost $400 million per year which feels like it is enough for the system.
Videogame companies like Activision and Riot Games spend time to tweak, change, even overhaul (rarely) the "balance" of their games. Perhaps that same attention would be beneficial to the Steemit community too ...
