One day recently there was a reward pool of 677,974 steem.
On that day there were 12,020 authors.
This makes an average of 56.4 steem for each author.
That is a living wage for a large family in much of the world.
Too bad 'we', as a community, have decided to vote the largest majority of that pool to the more 'popular' people.
It is a shame, to me, that we think the Kardashian cult needs it more than the families of the rest of the world outside the conspicuous consumption cults.
