Hey guys trying something a little different today, let me know what you think. I’ll be taking a look at a few cryptocurrency apps that every Steemian should install and use on their smartphone, as we can’t always be using our computers and sometimes need to work on the go.

#5 – Gliph Android/iOS

Gliph is a beloved cryptocurrency marketplace that allows you to sell and buy items and message other people on the platform. This is a great version of online marketplaces for people who actually care about their privacy and their security. Scammers might try to take advantage of its system, but it has real people on its support system willingly trying to help those who would fall for these scams.

#4 – Blockfolio Android/iOS

Cryptocurrency investors can’t survive without Blockfolio, as the app allows us to keep track of our cryptocurrency portfolio with a simple click and as if that wasn’t enough, we can also read the news on it to keep up with what’s going on with our assets. The app covers 800 different altcoins – including Steem - and over 30 fiat currencies so you can use it to keep up wherever you are.

#3 – Bitcoin Map Android/iOS

If you aren’t using bitcoin as a way to store value, and if you want to actually spend the money you have n a secure way, finding out where to use cryptocurrencies can be hard. With Bitcoin Map, you can find out whether your local shops accept bitcoin or not, and if not, where you can go and spend your bitcoins.

#2 – TabTrader Android/ iOS

Some might argue against trading on a mobile phone but if you know what you’re doing, TabTrader is the way to go. The app allows you to use the API access of several exchanges in order to view graphs, get price notifications, check out trends, and issue buy/sell orders all from your smartphone while on the go. It features most major cryptocurrency exchanges, ranging from Poloniex and Bittrex – which accept Steem – to CEX.IO and Bitstamp.

#1 – eSteem Android/iOS

I had to include eSteem in the list. This app essentially allows you to access Steemit through your mobile phone. Not only can you read comments, create posts and upvote stuff, you can use multiple accounts, redeem funds and do a lot, lot more – probably more than I manage to do, as I’m still a newcomer around here.

The app was created by @good-karma, so all credits go to him and his amazing work developing this and making Steemit accessible on smartphones.

Follow, upvote and resteem @frsvp for more cryptocurrency news and developments!

Thanks for sharing this - eSteem was the only one I had previously known about. This is great!

I'm glad you liked it. I'm thinking about doing one about cryptocurrency-related games?

Thanks to @good-karma
With the Esteem app, I find it helpful to use this social media steemit.

Good post! Very useful info.
