First post after 8 day hiatius ( Things I rather do than post on STEEMIT)

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

Well I decided to take a eight day hiatus after 2 and a half weeks of posting on here religiously . After averaging $1/hour, I started to think about all the different things I could spend 8 hours a day doing rather than posting on STEEMIT and here is what I came up with.

Eat copious amounts of cheeseburgers

Watch paint dry

Take up a new drug addiction

Sleep

Talk to old people

Look for alternative ways to pleasure myself

Get a real job

Move to India and become a rickshaw driver

Whatever it is I am pretty sure it will pay better than here. That's 2.5 weeks i'll never get back.

I have been on here for a little over two weeks. I haven't posted any work yet, for I wanted to look around first and figure out how the website works. Just been replying to others post.

If you want assistance on how to build up steem look up the minnow support groups on here. I recommend @aggroed. There are people on here who are teaching others on how to make a living off this site. Just have to find them.

One of the things I keep noticing, after my time of lurking. Is that a lot of people who just got on here and started up their blog. Brought followings from other places, such as Twitter, Instagram, or snap chat. So, of course, they are more successful at his.

Don't give up. I have seen your work and have enjoyed it. Followed.

Sadly being the outcast that I am, I do not have any of the channels that you mentioned above. Nevertheless, thank you for your response and thank you for reading. Have a great day.

Well, most of them are less funny or safe than posting here.

Yesterday the reward mechanism was changed. Before the rewards grew expotentially with votes received, now it is linear. And I have find out that your more succesful post are those about your feelings.

LOL they changed it again. I wonder if I am going to start earning negative amounts on my posts now? Or better yet, maybe they will start charging me to post on here. Thanks for the heads up. And thanks for reading ropaga
