RE: Daily Steem Stats Report - March 13 - 21,957 new accounts yesterday!

Hi Xplosive,
Thanks for your honest reply. You are correct!
I do share your feeling. Lots of people here are in it for the money. Look for instance at the posts from Haejin. He gets lots of upvotes but just for curation. A lot of people do think that it is a quick rich sheme, but it is not.
According to me it all depends on how your group of followers has been built. I'm not going to say that the points below reflect on your situation, because I don't know you so I cannot and don't want to judge you.
Suppose an account has 1000 followers, but 99% of these followers are follow-you-follow-me followers, than your group of followers is meaningless. It is just there to brag about with your friends.
Another account has only 100 followers but most of them are people who voluntarily decided to follow the account. This can be based on shared interest, or the topics the authors writes about.
Who do you think will have more chance on interaction?
Correct the second one.
I did devote one of my best posts about it, but it went unnoticed :( Just like in your case, only a handful of people are interested in my posts. But that is where I do get my motivation from.
I'm not going to write that I'm not here for the money, cause the money part probably made me to take the plunge. But I can honestly say that I do appreciate a comment or discussion much more than an upvote.
I did take a look at yout profile and did notice that it is hard to see, what your passion is. I do see a lot of resteems. I only resteem if a post really touches me. Please don't see this a criticism but as a genuine tip about how I see Steemit. Start writing something down about yourself about your passions and you will get noticed. Like this reply. It was genuine and out of the hart and it did get noticed.
Don't forget that Steemit is a reflection of the society, where we also have a lot of selfish people.

Although I'm running out of voting power, I will upvote you to show you that there are lots of good and genuine people here on steemit.
Once again, thx for your honest reply. Appreciate it a lot!

Keep he faith,
Peter

There is nothing wrong with a criticism as long as it's constructive, useful, helpful.
But I take that as a genuine tip as you said and I will change my habits about the resteems.
Also thank you for mentioning my passion. It's more like a lifestyle. It's called "amateur radio" or "ham radio".
I don't know, if you know it, I also don't know, if you ever heard about it for it's not a very popular hobby.
I wrote a few posts about it. The first post about it was successful, but the rest are not. Just like my blogging on Steemit in general. Not much people cares about it.
By the way I honestly think that most of the people here are mostly cares about and interested in more known hobbies, such as gaming, but I will try to write more about amateur radio in the future and I hope that I will find a community, which genuinely interested about my posts.
