It's not pretty! But it's a gorgeous opportunity!

My Uncle is a painter. So gonna get Steemit on the. Side.

Gotta get some votes to get the funds. But why not make this a project that you can join in.

Definitely gotta share details.

1979 Chevy van.

Needs lots of work.

Have a painter. Going to need mechanic help.

But.... Even though this isn't even fuel efficient. It is a dry place for me and dog. So hammock time! I know the dog is going to be excited for this. He loves snuggles.

For the short trips. I have something fuel efficient. Well hope so. Tomorrow is going to be an adventure. Gotta get that adventure on.

But this project thread by all means share with me options and any ideas.

The idea is low cost. Give me some time to steem up and summer is about here too.

It's going to be alot of work. And fun!

Besides the fact it's gonna be Steemit on the side! And I can park next to the traffic on a freeway...

And maybe more to come.

Every vote counts! Thanks to everybody here! Getting bigger every day!

Thanks! Have to change the world!

Cash, grass, or upvotes.... nobody rides free!!

Vote! All the votes!

I'll even vote your comment! Vote vote vote!
(But somebody else will have to vote it too, so it's above the 2c minimum for payout!)

Shit... Not supposed to be voting! Oh well I just got to 70%

Well I can't wait to see both of us grow even bigger

Good idea, I helped my girlfriend turn an ambulance into a camper van!

This is going to need help. But it's not that bad!

well done ganjafarmer, once again!

Yeah would rather plan A. But time for change. And why not! Any ideas?

I know you already have your dream machine...
But another great start for a vehicle is a small bus. Yeah, I know... "I rode the short bus to school!" But hear me out!
They're extremely cheap, and always in excellent condition (by law). All they need is some paint, and you can rip out some of the seats to make room. A small sheet of plywood can turn 2 seats (facing each other with a gap between) into a double bed for the night. And they'll run forever, the engines are built to last. At least up here, that's how it works, because the province has to get rid of the buses after 10 years of service, and they tend to still be in perfect shape. Besides, they're built to protect kids! The shell is solid steel. If you know a welder you can basically turn them into anything you want. Then, just have it inspected and get the vehicle class changed from bus to whatever you want, like recreational vehicle. Cheaper insurance.
It's not an option for me right now, but I have a couple friends who have done it. They're happy and relatively free.

Yeah was looking at one. Will do more pictures of inside for the next post!
