RE: Science in Anarchy! Participate in the world's first science experiment on steemit and get paid!

Awesome idea @williambanks--science by the people, for the people. We want to add that even OTC anti-inflammatories have an extremely high degree of government control and regulation, so encouraging their use is not really #scienceinanarchy. There are other options: the strongest, most effective anti-inflammatory we have found is colloidal gold, for instance, plus it's been shown to alleviate depression in our experience (https://steemit.com/health/@gardenofeden/depression-sucks-but-help-is-available-this-is-the-most-holistic-remedy-we-have-found). This is just one option which we happen to be intimately familiar with.

Obviously, your study would morph if you reset that parameter (potentially not what you want), but not supporting Big Pharma is worth considering if you're calling for real anarchy in science...

@gardenofeden in this instance using OTC is more about dosage and purity control than anything. I know about the antibacterial effects of colloidal silver. I also understand the difference between antibacterial and antibiotic.

Colloidal gold as an antinflammatory has no scientific basis that I have seen and gold has been known for thousands of years to be completely inert within the body.

However if people want to try it. I won't stop them. They can use it like any other anti inflammatory in group 1 or group 3, because we didn't specify any particular drug and a large enough test group should give us enough data to prove or disprove the hypothesis regardless of the particular anti-inflammatory chosen.

They would need to document source, purity and method of preparation for the results to have scientific validity though.
