I am really surprised that there is no "Ebay" accepting or allowing transactions with crypto.
So many owners of cryptocurrency and noone is able to properly spend his coins. I think the thechnology to make it is there but why noone is even trying it?
I mean Imagine having your steem it blog connected to an ebay project having a crypto wallet and a reward for commenting and giving feedback after purchases and transactions so scammers and non legit persons get cleared out.
Also you will have the opportunity to have your selling item promoted through video and blog on steem and then exchange either with steem or Req (request network will be the paypal of crypto soon).
Anyone has some insight on that? Anyone knows if its possible? Why its not done?
@ggrouse great idea, it is very surprising it hasn't been done yet
Actually thought of this idea long ago when I was first getting interested in crypto. There are similar platforms (upcoming) that I know of but none that can truly qualify as ebay of cryptoverse. Not sure why either.
One possibility would be that placing "ebay" on a blockchain does not add anything new to the mix? Just a wild guess.
The new thing you can implement is having people giving feedback in trades and with this feedback get monetize in steem for example rating the seller or the buyer and giving comments on the smoothness of the transaction so that bad users get wiped out as well as having for example steemit connected and share your sell. The possibilities are endless I think. I am not a developer though just looking it from the growth point of view.
