The fact that posting content in Steemit is directly related to earning money will understandably have effects on user behavior. I'd like to know what are the impacts on content quality. I have been a regular user of Quora.com for some time now. Recently, I am spending most of that time is Steemit, but frankly, I don’t get the same quality of informative content here. Let's see what direction this new social network will go in the future.
I wonder this as well, but for now it's still beta and pretty new. I found it through a friend. When money is involved you might get the same quality as let's say Youtube. People posting other people's hard work and making it clickbait. However I'm a person who prefers quality reading. Mostly Tech, but also sometimes politics (more the new politic ideas and economics some people come up with which would actually change the world). Also am much of a gamer, so would love to read Guidies and such as well, or reviews even.
You know what I like about Steemit over other social media...it is honesty. Yes everybody is out there to sell themselves on social media, but this is the only format that everyone actually understands it and places it in the capitalist realm that it is. On facebook they try some blatant selling... yes I do myself for business... but it needs to be subtle or they rag on you. Here everyone comes just for that... ah, truth can be refreshing.
