RE: When I introduced Steemit to my Friends - Being nice to people is a big sin these days!

Will look that.
Do you have any idea about Delegated SP Leasing launched by @minnowbooster? I thought that we should invest in this thing to get more SP. But not sure if the steem we will be sending be returned to us by them or not. I was about to text you on Facebook to discuss this.

Sort:

The Steem invested in @minnowbooster is not refundable. You get SP delegated for a week. You have to maximize benefit of having more SP.

Hmmm, then I'll not be using that. I was thinking of investing PKR 100,000 :D

It would have been better to buy Steem worth 100,000 (almost 900-950 Steem) when Steem was too low and power up. Steem can go lower than $1 if the market goes down. Buying Steem would be wiser.

Hmmm, thinking about it @ilyastarar, thanks for your insights.
You have a great analytical skills, I must say!

Thanks a lot.

Can you please guide me how can I buy Steem? Like do I have to first buy BTC and then buy them on Block trades?
Also if you know any authentic website to buy BTC via credit card.

That's worth a big tutorial because details aren't possible here. Yes, BTC is necessary. Blocktrades is one option. Poloniex, Bittrex are others.

UrduBit is our local source of BTC. It's better than LocalBitcoins in price comparison. I used Cex.io (reliable but not cheap). Coinbase is good but doesn't work here. Local exchangers can be found on Facebook.

Procedure

  1. Buy BTC and send them to Bittrex/Poloniex/Blocktrades.
  2. Buy Steem from BTC markets there.
  3. Send Steem to Steemit Account.
  4. Power Up.

Thanks a lot and please write a post on this as well for Pakistanis, buying BTC from a credit card is looking bit shaky.

I have it planned. Some posts are ready but waiting for the market to stabilize. Plus I need to add my own experiences which will take some time.

Thanks for your reply, you saved my money.

Most welcome
