Did HF19 made Steemers greedy?

I don't mean to point the finger towards anybody and I am not talking about my posts (well, not only), but it looks to me that people has changed with HF19.

Before HF19 - You can clearly see how people liked this post without even read it...

After HF19 - This post has 10x more views than like, although it was a pretty enjoyable one

The situation has not changed for the "strong" users...
Probably people tend to upvote them hoping in a very remunerative vote back.
And I am NOT talking about the rewards for a post (voting power may be low for different reasons), but simply the appreciation for somebody's effort in form of an upvote.

Thanks for reading.

If you like the topic, please "Uptove" (this is for my dear @dev00100000) and share your opinion in the comments.

I totally agree with you!
I am experiencing this everyday right now...
Since the HF I often see people that are writing really nice comments on posts, but don't even bother to give the post an up vote as well.

This is definitely a regression... Not a technical one, but a social one.

yeah... Let's hope that this will change. I for my part will do my best to upvote as many good posts as possible without bringing my voting power to 0 :)

Great post tho!

Uptoves for everyone!

Uptoves is the new Hodl lol

I do notice what you are saying. Im just confused on how the hard fork effected it

Well, each vote has an higher value now (I hope I didn't misunderstand this point) so people tend to "keep their money". Then I might be completely wrong, if so, would be great if somebody could clarify this point.

Ohhhhh i got you. Yeah that actually makes sense. So wait does upvoting and commenting cost ME anything?

It does NOT cost you anything. Simply you want to keep you power for yourself or for some people you constantly follow instead of upvote an interesting post by a random person. There is nothing "wrong" in this. It just kills the Steemit principles considering that the focus moves on the people (I upvote xyz because I know his post will be popular, not because I find it interesting) rather than on contents.

Ah ok i see. Thats really good to know thank you(:
