RE: This Is Not What I Have Signed Up For

Hey, @erikah.

So, you and I are in full agreement about the ads—I don't want to see them either. I've been using the Brave browser to block them, but the problem with that is, I lose the steemchiller extension I've been using that I like. It allows the post view box to scroll underneath the post text box as you're writing a post, instead of leaving the text box behind to see how the formatting is going.

I like the way Steemspeak is set up, with the side to side formatting, but I don't like how it's set up for comments and replies.

Anyway. It is what it is, I guess, and we're left to deal with it each in or own way. :)

I love steemchiller extension, it's my favorite tool.
I keep hearing about the brave browser but have never tried it. I'm using eSteem and Busy and Steemit as well for curation. Maybe I'm naive but I'm still hoping they are going to remove ads one day.

I would hope that they wouldn't have all of them everywhere. That's just plain overkill. Plus, they're not really appealing at this point. I'm not sure if they're supposed to follow you around on the internet and then present you with different products and services, but I'm not interested in anything they're trying to sell me.

The Brave Browser automatically blocks ads, so that's cool, and at some point, you're supposed to be able to earn BAT if you choose to actually see ads and click on them. So far, that's not happening, but I do like the Browser part.

re: steemchiller extension

Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed that broke on me because of the banner ad across the top. I wasn't very happy. :)
