I'm guessing they're supposed to be in the top left hand corner of Steemit page? I'm using Tampermonkey addon with Firefox.

I guess you are using other Steemit Addons (you can deactivate them temporarily to use SCT). If that should not be the case, the sidebar should be visible on the left (can be set to top in settings). Another reason could be a very small display resolution.
Okay! It was the browser. I didn't have it quite wide enough for the sidebar to show up. Thank you!
