Always January

Happy Birthday to me!!!!

It is my birthday and I am excited?? Okay, I do not know how I feel but I see my birthday as every normal day except of course I was born on this date and in this month.

Over the years, I have always hated my birthday particularly the date because it fell on a day and time when workers haven't received their pay - Salary. So, I would get depressed and sad by it. I can count how many times I received gifts and wishes as a child and I would wish a thousand times to be reborn. I simply hated the month January.

Today, I have come to accept my day, date and month and have found uniqueness in it, I love and respect it because I know there is no one like me for God has taken out his time to beautify me and endowing me with so much. All I have to do is find them and work purposefully in them. Like a sailor, I have began my search for the treasure though how turbulent and wavering the sea might be. I will remain strong and steadfast keeping my eyes on the spot marked 'X' until I get ashore.

Gloria, you are crazily special in your own way and I want to say I love you. I love the woman you are and will be. I love your smile... I love your intelligence... I love love love love love.....you. Continue to thrive and be DIFFERENT.
