RE: 1 Month Later, Here's What I Think About Steemit [+ Aha Moments]

in #steemit8 years ago

I'm a slightly younger steemian and I learned pretty early on that the key to success here is engagement. Not just in the comments sections of your own blog, but in the blogs of fellow steemians. In Steemit chat and on Discord. Help each other, support each other and by every little action you take you get that little bit further on your journey to success.

I recently joined the MinnowSupportProject and have had a blast over on their Discord channel, helping and advising where I can. The rewards I get from this are even more connections and - I'd like to think - some genuine friendships.

I'm unaware of what sickness you suffer from but as an MS sufferer steemit has been a great avenue to channel my energy into.

Hi Gmuxx,

Thank you for your comment. I remember we followed each other not too long ago. :)

You are right about supporting the community as a whole. I am the mod of the Steemit India channel and have been selflessly engaging there. Plus, you will always find me in the general channel... mostly having fun!

Definitely found some genuine friends with common interests. :)

Not active on Discord. Although I am visiting it regularly.

I have heard about MinnowSupportProject from aggroed but I didn't fully grasp the concept. Is it worth revisiting now? Is this the PAL channel?

Thank you!
