I am going to be posting a very "raw" list today. One of the columns is self votes (some people have multiple accounts like me.)
I believe every author should vote on their own post. If they have created something of worth, then they should vote on it. If you run for an office, you vote for yourself.
But, my opinion is just my opinion. The column will be there to let others form their own.
I have been avoiding self-voting myself, seeing that as taboo, and generally frowned upon. I like the way you frame this aspect of voting and will consider it with my next article.
Sure, I see no reason an author should not vote for themselves. If you vote only or mostly for yourself, then that is a problem.
Mostly people get envious with those having more SP and think that for some reason those that have invested in the platform and themselves should not be able to vote for their very self. This really is a nonsensical argument, regardless if you have a penny vote or a $2,000 vote. Whatever size it is, it is because of the investment you have, period!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, if we can add a #noselfvote tab, that would be cool too.
