As I've mentioned in several of my blogs here on Steemit, I see a collapse coming!
I've said though that it's not going to be "Mad Max"!!!! What we're looking at is the 1930's on steroids. It will be worse than the 30's for a few simple reasons.....
Governments, and the Media have told the lie so often, and so many times that things are rosy, they've not only convinced the Public, but they've convinced themselves!!! Those in power have seen the writing on the wall though, and what they've really convinced themselves of, is the idea that they can continue to control things through collapse. They believe that "Bail in's" will save the banking system. They believe that Oppression in the streets through heavily armed riot squads will quell the public's anger. They have commissioned "Continuity of Government" plans, written by people who have had a vested interest in convincing those above them that if their plan is followed, it will work.
On the other hand... Far too many are profiting from peddling doom and gloom!!!
I watched a video the other day posted over on that "Other video platform" (Starts with a Y lol.) This video was posted by a very popular fellow there. The title was "Preppers will die", and over 51,000 people have watched it so far. This guy (I don't want to mention his moniker, and PLEASE don't speculate. My point here is about the content, and popularity from fearmongering.) Anyhow this fellow, assumes what's called WROL, or without rule of law will be the the norm in our World soon. This is the basis for millions of people building bunkers dug into their back yard, filling them with dried food, and arming themselves to the teeth. The truth is, during any calamity, yes there is some crime, but you won't have to shoot people in the face over a handful of rice! Your neighbors will begin (As what usually happens) helping one another, and your local community will do just fine.
I've watch a lot of videos over many years on ""Strategic relocation" as well. You don't need to overthink this stuff!!!
Yes, my Wife and I have already relocated! We did so for contemporary reasons though. We moved to the middle of nowhere in Iowa, because I like to garden, real estate is cheap, and we prefer a small town atmosphere. We live in a town. It has a population of around 150 people. Here's a picture of what it looks like from my front yard.
We made sure we moved to an area with some rainfall (Gardening lol.) We get about 37 inches a year (94 cm.) The house has a 1,000 gallon underground "Cistern"(3700 liters), a root cellar, and a live well. We have a wood stove, dozens of fruit trees, and 5 little doggies to keep us warm at night. We've got 14 hens, 1 rooster, and 7 ducks. WE WERE ABLE TO PAY CASH!!!! We don't have a mortgage, or death contract! A small home around 900 sq ft (274 meters) recently sold nearby for $20,000 US. It has a half acre of ground!!! (A fifth of a Ha.) Our property has twice that. We don't store years worth of freeze dried food, we home can a Winter's worth. We grow what we need for the next year. That's the plan anyhow. We're getting into herbal medicine, and becoming more fit. Yes we have ways of protecting ourselves, but it's not a priority. We could have that "Bunker in the yard", but there isn't much we can't handle. Sure there is fear of things like radiation, but we're trying to prepare for that.
Financially we don't have any debt, and my presence here on Steemit shows we're trying to diversify into crypto-currencies lol. Anyhow, I hope you do well getting through what's to come, in these uncertain times, but it won't be the end!.... just something new.
Sounds like you have it sorted. It is always better to live for the what is happening, rather than what might not.

Sounds pretty good. We need to prepare for the worst but expect the best. How are you set up for health issues? We bought a "Silver Lungs" Generator to make Ionic and Colloidal silver. Well worth the cost. We use it in everything, even for our pets and purifying water. Looks like you are going to have great content. I will be following you and resteeming as much as I can.
