@cicicastor, Yeah, but I like the idea that there's a thriving expat community. We're thinking Ajijic, which is in the South end of the Country. We're looking at weather as well. (70-72f, or 21-22c year around!!) Exchange rate is currently just under 18 to 1. Makes my Social security check, or a little steem go a long way!!!

Not bad. Depending on where in Nicaragua you want to settle, there are thriving expat communities and the exchange rate today is 30.25 to the dollar!
Exchange rates will certainly change, as the Dollar collapses!!!!
