Preach it brother. It's very frustrating seeing one pic you've seen used 25 others times and 20-30 words makes a ton then there's good shit out there getting pennies. Steemit's only as good as the content on here and I agree with everything u said. Resteemin this. Cheers

Part of the problem is, it's almost impossible to actually find good content. I'm not a whale, but I have a reasonable amount of Steem Power, and I TRY to find good, real, undervalued content, and it's ridiculously hard. I will just sit scrolling through the new posts, and I have literally no idea which ones are not spam. I only have so much time I can spend looking through articles, and the truth is a huge percentage of posts are spam, reposts, or just random pictures from the internet that people thought were cool. I WANT to find new members who post original content that have zero or low pending payouts, and I cannot find enough to vote on. Just my point of view.
Yeah that's fair @trogdor. I can see that. I can't even keep up within my feed and I'm not even following 200 ppl. Alot of the problem is the things I'm interested in I can't just search. Sure there's tags but ppl use so many that alot of the tags don't even have anything to do with those topics.. there's alot of trash. For the reason you stated I can see the circles being small and users just staying within thier lil cliques. Perhaps there's nothing we can do about it? The only advice I give new users is stick with it, keep grinding and you will make friends and get more views but that's not even for certain. I have almost 500 followers but sometimes only get 7 looks on my posts. It is what it is. I've stopped myself from getting post jealousy from seeing absolutely terrible, uninspired posts with high earnings and other well thought out ones with pennies. That's just Steemit. Most of the pleasure i derive from the site are the few friendships I've either had previously or have made on here..some of them have been made off site on Discord. Cheers
Also I should have added I know for a fact your about supporting new users and helping them out because I've seen it. This wasn't directed at u by any means
