@ kaylinart I had another idea to help out the community and get people more exposure, it was for a Steemit competition, but since I am new, I don't know how to get people to it and unfortunately I launched it in the middle of the night, so I am afraid it might fail before registration ends, if you are interested in taking a look and offering any advice I would be grateful.

I think you are right, I felt bad that I had 5 players and they had not received any upvotes, because I couldn't figure out a way to get people to view their work.

I hate that too :) maybe we can make a group on Facebook or something. We need to come up with ideas for people to "market " their post more, I feel like once Steemit becomes mega popular this won't be an issue anymore. Everyone will have a steemit account and we can simply advertise our post to our niche and get upvotes that way.
I'm glad it's not just me, I felt like I was failing the people who signed up
