Jehovah knows our needs yet he tells us to keep asking! Deep! (As even in "asking", we may need to be proven e.g consistent, persistent, deeply-rooted, of-substance, unshaken, free-willed, determined, exerted, pleaful, heartfelt, enthusiastic etc to be seen or established "too be really asking".
We must be deep to gain the best from anything, even the bible says, deep callth unto deep. Your dept determine the extent to which you are rewarded.
Talking about consistent and persistent I must say it pays off,. I have been on steemit since September, i became inactive for some time, only to hear SBD has clock 15USD, I could only count my loses if I had stayed. I learn from experience which is the best teacher that it pays to be present and grow deeper.
The longer you stay, the deeper you get, you cannot produce beyond your deep. The difference between man and God is the dept of God.
The future of steemit is great but we must be willing to go deeper even when it seem like we aren't getting anything, we must fight to make our present here.

Passion for something leads to disproportionate time practicing or working at it. That time spent eventually translates to skill, and when skill improves, results improve. Better results generally lead to more enjoyment, and more passion and more time is invested. It can be a virtuous cycle all the way to extraordinary results.

Skill is gotten from time spent and improve over time. Better result leads to more satisfaction, you nailed it.
Hmmmm.... To bear fruit upwards, a tree must first take root downwards. To rise to the top, we must first learn to build from the bottom. I can't but imagine the loses I have made those times I also walked away thinking it wasn't worth it. I have learnt my lessons and I am still learning.
