TL;DR: I have over $20 000 worth of STEEM POWER delegation that I am willing to give for free for a limited period of time to users (~$20 to each user) who have difficulty using the Steem platform in a normal way, because the value of their accounts is too low.
If you get the error:
"Voting weight is too small, please accumulate more voting power or steem power."
then you are one of the users affected by this situation.
As a result of various factors, including the high price of STEEM, some low-powered accounts, typically the newly-created ones, may have insufficient bandwidth (in other words, not enough Steem Power) even for non-excessive usage.
You can think of it as a game where beginners try to play with their low-level characters and can do only very basic actions, so they quickly get tired. What I want to do is lend you good armor and a few artifacts to help you have an easier start.
If your account has less than 15 STEEM POWER (both own and delegated) and you have trouble voting, posting or commenting because of that, or you would like to just get a nice bonus for start, please let me know in a comment below.

I will temporarily delegate 20k VESTS to you, which is currently worth over $20.
This will give you not only more bandwidth to perform actions on the Steem platform, but also more influence: your upvotes will be more powerful and your curation rewards will be bigger.

@timcliff's idea about increasing block size to 128k can help with bandwidth requirements for other transactions such as posts, comments, and transfers. Unfortunately voting is a different story. All because of: #define STEEMIT_VOTE_DUST_THRESHOLD (50000000)
I reserve the right to discontinue this action at any time, withdraw the delegation without giving any reasons, and choose not to delegate Steem Power at my own discretion.

Good news: Steemit increased delegation so this issue should be mostly gone, I've changed requirement to <15 STEEM POWER (both own and delegated)
Please check your wallet before commenting here: In most cases issue should be already gone and you should have enough Steem Power already delegated to your account

That reply was 9 months ago during my first two weeks on the platform, but I got well known since then by actually showing up nearly 24 hours a day and doing the work to build massive communities and not crying about fairness because I was not raised in an age where everybody gets a blue ribbon or skips facts to make themselves a victim. There's no such error for you because you have already much more Steem Power than threshold that I'm writing about. Your vote does make a difference but sometimes it's too low to affect potential payout, when rounded to 1 cent. Especially when you take a look at it in early stage of voting.
This works and you can check it easily - you are actually getting curation rewards.

Sweet of you to answer— so are you saying that my re-steeming items is diluting my own content? (Sorry, just working on figuring this all out.) I've only re-steemed a few things that I've really appreciated thus far.
Case in point: I actually did write an introduction post. It didn't do very well at all in terms of connecting me to anyone new, which is fine; I have to earn it. But I did notice that posts from scraped and flipped accounts that went gangbusters, comparatively. Going to have to watch and learn to see if time of day or whatever has a solid impact on performance. WAGH SO MUCH I DON'T KNOW.
Some people like re-steeming some people don't. If I go to someone's blog I wan't to see their own content. Seeing content that they like would be good as an option, currently however you can't turn it on/off.

But, I finally figured out that even a little bit makes a difference. Just bought a little more from bittrex and am moving it over today. Here for the long haul! :)

I don't know if this is still possible.My curiosity within 3 days of being here get me into this. Now I got the messages few minutes ago that I am out of bandwidth. So I have to research on what that is all about. That got me here
Similar symptoms but different reason. Hopefully in future there would be some better UX available for users to avoid confusion. You can either wait a bit until your bandwidth replenish or power up more STEEM.

I can't help with that. My delegations were for people that are unable to cast a single upvote due a bug. That's no longer the case.
If you wan't more SP, you need either buy it or earn it.
You have some SBD, consider using them to buy STEEM on the Currency Market and then Power Up.

Curation rewards depends on your Steem Power, if it is very small compared to others, then your share in rewards is also small. Sometimes rewards are so negligible that they are rounded to 0.
Re-steem is irrelevant for rewards.

Hi, you need to check that with your account creator, i.e. @skenan, who apparently already un-delegated SP from you, leaving you with very minimal amount.
But it should still be enough with current blockchain conditions to post (you can check your current available bandwidth here: https://steemd.com/@madokami).

Here's where you can get some more info about your current voting power, etc. On Steem it's similar to many games, when you are a beginner you have smal impact on the world surrounding you but over time, that would change if you invest in your character, either by work (creating and curating original, high quality content) and/or by buying more Steem and powering it up.
It was supposed to have at least $0.01 when I vote with my 100%, but it's not the case now, so I'm not sure what has changed.
It depends on many factors, like price of steem, your Steem Power and your Voting Power (you can get "tired" i.e. each consecutive vote is slightly weaker than previous one, voting power replenish over time, rule of thumb is to vote no more than 10 times a day)
