Perfect example of what happens when a NON WHALE user follows a whale blindly. How quick those wanting to participate in a free, decentralized and open experiement start calling for authority.

Whales have decided to be judge jury and executioner on a system that is supposed to be a free, open and decentralized experiment. Without moderation... READ PEOPLE.

Whales can get away with being dicks... for now. They control content, who gets upvoted and who is excluded. All of the small fish here could gather together and they still would not have as much power as just one whale. Think about that.

Two things will happen in steemits future. A redistribution of power will either start to work its way across the userbase, or steemit will die from the lack of interest and hard feelings.

Whales get 20 votes, some worth as much as $2k or close. You think they are going to give those 20 votes to the general public? You can bet your ass everyone of their friends and family has posted here and made a shit ton of money. Get real people.

Anyways, I support your right to downvote me and others, just make sure you support our right to downvote you...
