When you turn your Steem token into Steem Power in a process called "powering up".....you are now staking coins on the network which in turn is creating the mining of new coins and the security. So that's why powering up gives you more upvote dollar power.....you get a large slice of the daily mining pool and deciding where it goes the more Steem power you hold.
Is POW Mining possible with STEEM?
I'd like to possibly do some if it is...
