Comply with the rules

A rule can be defined as a set of norms designed to regulate the behavior of people, established by an authority and whose breach brings with it sanctions.

The rules are everywhere, they are an essential piece of the functioning of society, wherever there is a group of people there should be rules that allow a good coexistence between them, and the proper development of their activities. While it is true that in some situations it is not necessary to establish rules to "regulate" the behavior of people, for example public places, "because they are already taken for granted, in this case rules are the behaviors taught by family members who are forming from an early age.

In this digital age, the establishment of rules and the application of sanctions for non-compliance acquire a higher level of importance. Internet access is practically unlimited, so it is "complicated" to identify a specific person and even more to regulate the access you may have to a specific site, therefore appropriate measures must be implemented to prevent or reduce abuses and the breach of the rules as such.

In our case, Steemit, is a decentralized platform, the main focus of this network is aimed at the creation of original and quality content, however, being decentralized there is no authority to supervise or sanction the content that is shared. On the other hand, there are groups and users within the platform that are dedicated "to clean" content that is not consistent with the essence of Steemit.

Among these groups, the most relevant are: @steemcleaners, @abusereports, @lince, @grumpycat among others, these projects or groups condemn the abuse and plagiarism of content within Steemit.

Undoubtedly, comply with the rules is the ideal, even so there will always be people who will find the easy way to exploit any benefit that exits... For this I invite you to support all those groups and projects that enforce the rules ... Greetings

Excellent post!
Some kind of regulation, including sanctions, will always be needed. With no centralized authority, things become difficult indeed. The community constitutes a (decentralized) authority of course, but still, some things have to be figured out.. We are in the earliest stage, so time will show.. :)
