Payza Prepaid Card arrived in my house after 8 weeks. The Gateway of Cryptocurrency to Fiat money...

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)
Feeling great to already have this with me. This is the Payza Mastercard they delivered right in my post box. It takes 8 weeks from the place of its origin to my place Nagoya. It cost me $19.95 USD for shipping and handling fee which will automatically be deducted from your balance in your account. If you still don't have one you can create an account here in the link.https://secure.payza.com/?cQyEnAKkSvKVDK%2b%2fD72wwIyWIIRYr5392tlDu6xwXlE%3d

What is Payza?

I can say that Payza is a gateway from cryptocurrency to fiat money(or vice versa). It is an online payment gateway (AKA, online payment platform” or processor) and E wallet service that functions similar to PayPal. With Payza you can buy and sell Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies.

Steem and Steem Dollars are already inside as you can see in the image. Inside of Payza, the exchange rate of Steem coin going to US dollar is 1.47 USD which is kind of low compared to its current price in https://coinmarketcap.com/ of 1.54 USD. You can check the full detail of the blog. https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/announcements/exchange-ethereum-ripple-litecoin-more-sell-altcoins-payza/

Payza prepaid card fees and limits.

Here are some Frequently Asked Question which may help you.

Q: Can I use my Payza prepaid card online?

A: The Payza prepaid card may be used for online transactions wherever Visa or MasterCard is accepted.

Important: Avoid using the card to register online for free trials. After the trial period, companies may start charging your card and you will be responsible for the charges.

Q: Can I use my Payza prepaid card in-store?

A: The Payza prepaid card may be used for in-store transactions wherever Visa or MasterCard is accepted.

Q: How do I view my Payza prepaid card transactions?

A: Your recent Payza prepaid card transactions are displayed in the Prepaid Card section of your Payza account. Click on “All Activity” to view your complete “Prepaid Card Transaction Activity”.

All this information you can found inside in their own website.

Happy to have it with Steemit Card, haha!

That might seem good for you but there is way too many fees for me. They charge to see your balance. I've never herd of a card that does that.

Yeah...this definitely won't work well for people who don't have large balances. It charges you at least $1 every time you swipe it, plus a dollar every month, and $2 if you don't use it often enough. It might be a good way to get big chunks of your crypto out at an ATM, but not so much for running errands.

@mtgmisfit Of course, the website says no yearly fees or activation fees, perhaps they are partially correct, they don't charge yearly fees, but they charge a monthly fee, seems pretty sneaky in the wording.

yeah, they have fees, they said it's still upgrading in a much easier way maybe to deduct unnecessary action to make it simple and easy... Hope unnecessary fees will disappear as well

thanks a lot for this great post @hiroyamagishi, I've been a payza member for about 4,5 years ago when it was still in its early phase as being alertpay ( Neobux is still big that time ). Just followed you, keep it up !

nice to know, I know this Neobux too... You can order your card instantly for verified member

Great post man, always nice to have more alterantives to cash out for those that need it, particularly in the Philippines. Thanks for sharing in the teamphilippines chat channel man!

Wow, great style blog! I follwed you! ;)

thanks for appreciation! steem on!

I think you can use this @deveerei @dreamiely @kennyroy @grazz @arrliinn

Coins.ph has a similar thing for visa card, have u tried that @hiroyamagishi?

yeah, I have also a Coins.ph and it's a wonderful thing to have that too... I know they have only a virtual card, no idea if they have a physical debit card like Payza and BitPay, we used the Payza card last time for paying in Max's Restaurant and Grab...

Great info. upvoted and following

thank you, appreciate it

This can reduce remittances fees in Africa by large margin,

you absolutely try this out, it is an international card

I don't know. If you are a darknet vendor then I can imagine such a card would be handy but if it is on name I'm not so sure... Better to take real life vendors and marketplaces in the physical world to crypto. I'm all for Blockpay. Check out @kencode

can I exchange usd for bitcoin on payza?

yes, you can

very good post, and am following you, so hope we can both well on Steemit. Let me know if you run into any problems with this card.

no problem at all since then, already used it to pay for the restaurant, pay for taxi and withdraw cash from a convenience store. Its works well especially to the international ATM like 711 convenience store. Really great thing

very good, as i travel a lot. keep up the good work you are doing

They sure seem to have lots of fees. I'm curious about the POS fee, why would they even charge you to change your pin? If I do sign up, I'll use your link @hiroyamagishi.

they have lot of fees I admit, however, they still working to have a much more easy way. Hope some of fees will be disappear as well

very informative thanks for sharing

thanks for reading my blog @swtcamito

Well done Hiro, please do check back with us and let us know how it's going after using the card for a while!

Sure, but wanna inform you that my friend already used it when travelling on Philippines. He pays for the bill in restaurant using this card and for Grab taxi. It's working too in Abu Dhabi, UAE ATM machine. Also, we used it to withdraw cash from 7/11 store in Nagoya. Unfortunately, 7/11 is the only ATM that works well with it in Japan so far, because 711 is an international unlike other ATM in my opinion

Good to know. Upvoted

Thanks for cluing us in to all these cards. I have been so busy that I haven't had time to do this kind of research. So, your posts are super helpful

thanks @gringalicious for noticing my article...It was kind of cool to have some option like this, hopefully, in the future, more companies will accept the Crypto especially Steem...
By the way, I love reading your blog every time, it makes me go to the kitchen often haha... See ya around!
