This is a story about Motivation and Tragedies.. Steemit, Life and a little something about me!

I come from a simple family. My father brought the food to the table and my mom was an housewife. My father got ill and during his last years in life, he was sick. He never complained as much as you could imagine..

Four heartattacks and one cerebral haemorrhage later and he was still trying his best. He tried and he pushed himself. Unfortunately, he passed away in late December 2012. At home, in front of me. I was 27 years old..

That's a different story so I won't go into any more details about it, but I want you to understand one thing.. I'm not different from you at all. When I struggle.. or when I've lost focus and/or motivation I usually listen to this:

I've been doing this for a few years now, ever since I worked as a salesman. It keeps me motivated and helps me endure long hours of work. There's lots of similar ones on Youtube too.

Another favorite of mine is this:

I don't try to force you to become someone you're not or to listen to something you're not interested in.. What I'm doing here is trying to clarify what type of person I am myself and what I do to keep myself motivated when things are hard. That said, I am like you. In one way or another. No one will give you a million dollar house or a new red Ferrari for free. No one. Never. If you want something you'll have to get it yourself. Work hard and get it..

How can you use this life experience on steemit? And can you?

Yes You Can!! - At least if anyone is asking me.

There's TONS of people on Steemit right now, during the time I write this, who complains.. A lot.

In case you've missed it, even though I have a hard time to imagine it.. People complain about these kind of things and about these people:

Huge payouts on "crap" posts.
How unfair steemit is.
And people are complaining about this being a huge lottery where there are pre-selected winners.

And so on.. And so on.. And so on..

Seriously.. there's even discussions about the 80/20 rule..

The principle was suggested by management thinker Joseph M. Juran. It was named after the Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto, who observed that 80% of income in Italy was received by 20% of the Italian population. The assumption is that most of the results in any situation are determined by a small number of causes.

That basically means that 2 out of 10 posts will make you money..

Seriously.. Do you believe such nonsense?!

IF you're lucky.. They'll land on some of your topics..

Embrace the feeling WHEN it happens, instead of complaining about that they DON'T upvote YOUR content.

You need to understand one thing..

I recently asked which direction you would go... And the answer was:

Most people would choose their old life because of fear for the new..

Here's my reply to that answer:

Fear could be changed into hope & willingness instead. Combine those and you'll have enough energy and determination to achieve greatness.

Don't give up. Don't sit around waiting for that Red Ferrari..

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT INSTEAD!

Don't blame others for your own failures..

Work hard, put in effort and allow yourself to fail. Don't be afraid of failing. That's a recipe for future success. :)
