Reclaiming The Fire
The reason why I chose this title is because sometimes we can let our work become burdensome and forget the importance of what we are doing it for in the first place. For me waking up everyday to do the work I do now on within the community via Steemit and Dtube is a gift that I do not deserve. But I am here and words can't describe how thankful I am for it.
If you are reading this, you need to find that spark. You need to allow your passion for your work or your life engulf the environment you are in and also other people's lives. I strive to live this way myself but lately or at least a week I started noticing some signs that I did not like.
I started to work, work, work to the point I wasn't getting sleep, I was not eating much, and my mind started to get a little hazy from it all. This is not what I want for my life. Although I like working hard, I do not want to cross that thin line and enter into the realm of workaholics. Why not? Because I was there and my body collapsed afterwards sending me into the lowest place that I had ever been in my life.
Constantly I am thinking of ways to motivate and encourage yall. This is my life's work and I am committed to doing this. Not only that but it's a joy to do at the same time. I do not want my work to become a burden so I am looking for ways to become more efficient and make sure I am actually living life. The fire is rising again. I can feel it. But first comes much needed rest and recouping. I hope you take that fire that you have and unleash it. Let it permeate through your work and in your life. Shalom. Have you unleashed the fire?

Thank you for your inspiring words. We all need to remember we're only human and take a step back every now and then. I can totally relate to what you're implying; I became severely addicted to working on Steemit and I ended up a sleepless zombie. But it was not just about Steemit, that just used to be me, I would just work and work and work. I've felt the same way and truly understand your message.

I haven't unleashed the fire yet. I am putting some major things in place and few week from now. I will show to the world my hidden talent.
To me, you are always been a motivation to the steemit community. You give more than your receive. Money cannot buy true encouragement and motivation but you gave us for free. Thanks for this.
I mentioned about striking a balance a few days ago on one of your post. It is quite important for us to developed the energy to do even more. I remember when I came on Steemit in January, I was working 20 hours a day on Steemit and Steem related issues.

then as regards work bro. i know you love your work but guess its consuming and draining..well i can relate because i was on my laptop for about 12 hours and still i felt like there was more work to do, i haven't been able to do much as regards my meditation, no time for my girlfriend, i feel consumed, working hard but still missing out on the necessary stuff.
so what i decided to do was to sort my day into hours. i had to schedule a particular time for my meditation, schedule about 3 hours in the evening for my reading. but still struggling to keep up with my girl.
guess you should just prioritize your activities, whats most important? what will make you fulfilled at the end of the day even if you did nothing else.
i treasure family.
and as regards the 5 hours editing, leverage is the key! dont do it alone. get a team. remember what happened to moses in the bible? he was working alone and he was getting eorn out. as a result, he couldnt even function effectively because of weariness. just get a team of people you can trust to give you better than what you want.

Well I really believe it is possiblke to get to the point that we all want by only the flame that is hidden inside of us ,we just need that opening and that push to let us go forward ,which is the work you are doing and glad that I am also seeing that with you and getting a step forward everyday by the help of you !

@HumanEarl great video and you touch on what a lot of us go through. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and just breathe. Family always comes first for me. In the case of our show it's all good because my family works on the show with me and helps us bond and have a lot of fun. The minute this starts feeling like "WORK" we will probably stop. I already have a great career in RL. Just keep having fun that's what it is all about. Just have a good time and enjoy it. Your videos are awesome and have a powerful message so keep doing what your doing but remember enjoy it man. You have certainly earned it.

I came into steemit with one major thing in mind, and it is to enlighten the masses abiut the trends in medical world. I have had a lot of good mentors so far, and today luck shines on me again to meet you. Some with passion, zeal and commitment to work.
We all have giant in us, most people's giant are usually asleeep, to be awaken for one to reach his or her potential.

I think that you deserve a rest. To be a workaholic means to deprive yourself of a full and happy life. Our life is short, so we should dedicate it to the fact that we really like and brings pleasure.
In every person there is something to which he strives. The main task is to strive for your goal and at the same time enjoy the process. Steemit can become a solution for many. There is an opportunity to share your success with others. There is an opportunity to get support and find friends. You correctly use this.
The main task is to find your spark and to kindle a fire from it.
we need to see the positives and be happy even in the little changes who know how big that is going to be one day

about learning what it's you do the best
and don't stop in "do" but also check for "feel"
