Watch On DTube
Recently I decided to use this service to autovote comments and follow the OneLoveDtube curation trail. Autovoting comments has made my workflow more manageable. I must say this is a pretty cool service to use and many people have no clue it even exists. So I will show you in this post and in the video above how to go about setting up this service for yourself if you plan on autovoting comments or following a curation trail. Here we go!
First off here's basically what this service does?
Once you log in using your posting key (you can find this by clicking the wallet tab on your blog and then by clicking the permissions tab) and username you will be directed to your dashboard which will look like this.
Also if you look on the left side of the page you will notice the navigation tabs. This will also direct you to other options within the site.
Now let's autovote people's comments. Click the upvote comments tab from either your dashboard or from the navigation tabs on the left side of the screen.
First you want to add which user you would like to receive an autovote for comments they make on your posts. Also make sure to enter a username without the @ symbol. You can choose the voting weight for each comment. Lastly wait time just means the amount of time you want to pass before the comment is autovoted. I always choose 1 minute of wait time but it's totally up to you. Once you hit submit that person will go on your comment autovote list.
Another cool thing about this service is the fact that you can follow a curation trail as well. If you don't know what a curation trail is then this is for you. Basically a curation trail allows you to automatically upvote the posts of the users who follow a particular trail.
Now let's look at how to follow a curation trail which you are also able to setup using the Steemauto service. You simply want to search for the name of the trail you are looking to follow.
Once you find the trail you are looking for you can follow that trail. Make sure to set your voting weight for the trail according to your preference. After you follow the trail you will see the name of the trail listed along with the voting weight that you set for the trail. You can always adjust theses settings so don't freak out if your voting power starts draining like crazy.
Wrap up
I tried to keep this as simple and as non dramatic as possible. It can be quite technical if you have never used a service like this. If you have any questions about this please let me know in the comment section of this post or if you want to reach me even faster message me on discord @HumanEarl. Hopefully this service will be of much help to you if you are interested and I can say from my own experience that this tool has helped me greatly already. Thanks for listening and be peaceful today! Shalom.
If you used Steemauto how would you use it?

I used steemauto mostly for Curation trail and fanbase when I came on Steemit new. I would say I was young and inexperienced as it was my early days. Auto-upvote and Curation trail then wasn't healthy for my accounts as I hard a very low sp and I would quickly run to bandwidth issues.
So, it's important that the person have some reasonable amount of Steempower to enjoy both services. They are pretty cool.
It does help if you have more SP. I'm glad I found a way to continue supporting all the great people like you that support men.
You keep exploring for new inventory and am now jealous of you for that ...😉
I really do need to change at least explore new stuffs once in a while if not as often as you do☺️
Exploration for me is very energizing. I love learning new things and sharing it with others.
I found out about steemauto a couple weeks ago but I haven't used it though, oweing to my low SP.
I think it's a great way for the 'big guys' to support people that make contributions to their posts.
I had to make some tweaks with the voting weights to not drain my VP to low. The big guys SHOULD be doing this for their fan base.
I think you've found an option I didn't know was there to avoid what I told you was My main reason to belive this was a bad idea!
Good tutorial and cheers on finding the magic button.
Thanks. When I found that service I couldn't believe something like that existed. It makes things much easier.
SteemAuto now made easy with your explanation. I tried using it but couldnt understand it, so I left there. Thanks for the SteemAuto tutorial
You don;t have to use it so no worries. I just put it out there for people who may be interested in using that service.
It seems to be a great service and a great choice

Thank you for the great information
No problem. Thanks for stopping by.
Wow, this is very informative for newbies like me, I have heard so much about it but haven't read anything on it.. Thanks for the detailed explanation sir.
It's funny because at first I though I wasn't being detailed enough. But so far people seemed to have been helped by the tutorial so that's what I want to hear.
Yea, I probably wouldn't have known anything about it anytime soon if not for this post.
I know am in to learn more great things from you, really don't regret following you.
The issue of uploading videos using dtube and dlive or dsound, I wish you will touch those areas too and I sure will give them a try for the first time. I just joined your discord channel
I personally use Dtube because I wanted to share things with people and it came out before dlive. I will be using dlive in the future though. I have also used dsound before but not to much. I think you should go with the one that fits what you're trying to do.
If it's music then dsound, if it's recorded videos then dtube, if it's live stuff you want to share then go with dlive.
The discord channel has people in it that use all of those so even asking them about it will help you tremendously.
Thanks for the tips sir, I appreciate
Wow.. Amazing. Steemauto really has amazing feautures. Makes it far easier for whales now and a great help to minnows. Thank you @humanearl for all you do.
You've really been wonderful
It's been a huge blessing for me to learn and share what I have so no worries. I love to help.
Truth is, I actually know about this service but felt I was too complicated to use and so stopped bothering myself about it. But with this explanation of yours, I feel I should get back to it but not for auto upvoting comments coz I don't have such steem power yet. Thanks for sharing bro.
At first it can seem very technical. I t was for me too bro. But I got the hang of it and it has helped out big time with the autovotes.
Good to know, and thank you :)
Great tech video but your not going to get away with just one on tech !
Your our spiritual inspiration :)
Lol.. God bless my friend

Todd! Haha. I'm not a tech head at all. It was pretty out of my range for me to do that tutorial but people have seemed to be helped by it.
Also glad you got on the OneLove discord.
Nicely done! It's very comprehensive and detailed guidance. I'm happy that's working for you, saving your time and the best thing is that it's cost effective.
Thank you for telling about this amazing service.
Man it has saved tons of time for me. Manually upvoting comments can take a while.
Hey man, thanks for this Steemauto tutorial. I wanted to say thanks for everything you're doing. You've supported my work many times in the past and I'm truly grateful for your help when I got started in here. It warms my heart to see you trying to help more and more. Stay blessed! (don't upvote this, I'm just speaking my thoughts.)
This comment of yours just fires me up. I'm grateful for people like you.
Yes, I see that you constantly correct the lists of users who receive automatic upvote. It's good, because you control the process and do not let others let abuse your voice power.
Personally, I have not used it yet Steemauto. In the future when my voice becomes more valuable I will promote the messages of the people who support me. I always remember those who support me. Therefore, the best solution is to respond to people with reciprocity.
Good instruction, everything is very clear and does not cause unnecessary questions. Thank you.
Yes it has been going well with the autovoting but I still need to tweak something to make it better for everyone who supports.
Well it sure will be useful to many and no wonder buddy it was easy to understand as well .
Glad to hear that it made your work a little easier :)
It has been much easier so far. Thanks.
that's great to know thanks for sharing about this thing to upvote automatically even comments too :)
So far so good with the autovoting but I just need to make some things better with it to make sure everyone who supports is receiving their vote.
Thanks for pointing out that SteemAuto has that feature. I hadn't explored it enough to actually realize that. I don't use it yet as I don't have a huge following, so I just handle the votes myself. I like to comment when I vote, that way I don't forget to reply. Thanks for the tutorial. ;)
There's the tutorial you asked for haha. Man I get so many comments it just gets a bit much trying to manually upvote all of them.
What do you think I should do as far as replies go once I start getting tons more comments?
I appreciate it! I went into the site and was thinking about setting it up, but decided against it for now.
Man, that's tough to say. I try to catch up on comments every day so I don't get behind. If you're trying to get to every comment, that's one way of doing it. I heard somewhere that someone recommended staying around for at least 30 minutes after posting so you can respond to comments. I don't know if that actually helps engagement or exposure on the trending boards, but it at least gets people thinking about your stuff more.
Another way would be to post and then reply to comments from the previous post. So if you're sticking with two posts per day, you could make the second post and do replies to the first post. The downside is that you would have to have a system to catch comments that come in after that.
The way that I think would be easiest is the one I use. I'm on a smaller scale, but I still think it would work for you. Start by going in to "replies" which are people's comments on your blog. Find the oldest one that you haven't looked at. Whatever replies are on that post, take care of them all at one time. Once you're done, then go back to your replies list and start scrolling up. Hopefully the ones on the same page group together.
While you're scanning replies look at the comments icon. In the example below, I know I haven't responded, because the little icon still says 0.
Another option to quickly see if you've dealt with it is you could even set your slider to something low, like 5% and upvote each of the comments, so it's easier to see that they've been addressed. The downside is that scavengers might be attracted even to that. Basically anything over $0.01 I would assume you'll have the spammers and multiple-account people going after it, so that's probably not the best idea, but I wanted to throw it out there for you.
I don't know what system you're using now, but as long as you're methodical about it, it will be easier than if you randomly use different ways to get back to people.
Lastly, don't be afraid to use the mute button. I know it's hard to use because as a nice person you don't want to hurt someone, but if someone's just a spammer/scammer, it's probably better to ignore them. That will save you a bit of time. Everyone else who hasn't ignored them will see the comment, but you won't, so you won't even know it's there. ;)
Any thoughts? Does any of that help?
Man this helps a bunch. I actually used to use the method you use now. It was much easier though to just go down each page and comment like that as opposed to clicking "replies and finding the comments for that particular post.
Starting in the morning I will try to stick around for 30 minutes to an hour to answer comments. I also just ordered a green screen which I plan on also using to respond to any comments in video form that I may not get to in the future.
Do you have any experience using Xsplit or green screen?
Glad it's helpful! Steeming should be a fun experience. Yes, there's a business side to it, and posts have to get out, but if you can be as efficient as possible, then you can use the rest of your time to enjoy it.
I don't have experience with green screen, but it sounds like it would be cool. I wouldn't mind getting some video responses to my comments. That's a cool idea.
Are you planning on using it for more posts as well? Give yourself a little more freedom when making videos? Or are you thinking just a more attractive background image that's static... like the pictures at the bottom of your posts?
I would use it for posts and answering comments yes. I would also use it to make encouraging videos when the weather is bad or whenever I feel like it. That would give me a little more freedom since I probably won't do much or any post editing.
As far as the background of the green screen videos I would use something like that yes. I am just experimenting with all this because it is so new to me. Just trying out new ways to release content.
I think it's a great idea to pursue new ways of creating your content. You might find that something else works really well and just continue with that. I hope it goes really well! :)
It's looks very useful tech. for steemit user .
Thanks for its brief summary .
I tried to keep it simple too so hope that helps.
I use steemauto to autoupvote some people's posts, it's great because even if life gets in the way i can still help the steem blockchain by upvoting authors that i already know that provide good content!
Atm i have 7 authors that i upvote from 50-100% of my votingpower, it's not much but we all need to start somewhere right!
Exactly. Start somewhere. Also to encourage you man keep grinding like you're doing. You have loads of great content. Love your work and the things you talk about.
@humanearl,
That would be a nice guideline! Anyway bro, don't provide Master Key to any of these sites! Hope the faith you put on us, will not misused by people!
Cheers~
Haha. That's a dummy key. Those were not the actual keys at all.
I am the one learning something new about Steemit apps today. Thanks for sharing Earl.
I wonder if I should start doing this as well?
The problem is that my 10K delegation just disappeared so the rewards for commenting are really low.
