If steem was worth $0.00 at the time I joined steemit, I probably wouldn't have joined. Initially when I joined, money was the drive. But as time went on, I noticed that making money here was not as easy as it appeared. I initially came here to raise funds for my GRE exam, but after three nonths , I've not made up to a quarter of the money.
So I decided to focus on making friends on the platform and that is not as easy as well. But I have been doing well at making friends, and left the money to just be an incentive.
So currently, if steem is $0.00, I won't leave because of the many friends I have made.
